Graphic Designer
Duties
- You will need to coordinate with our team for the production of email newsletters, banners, PDF documents and other marketing materials.
- Being creative on a regular basis and coming up with new and innovative brand identities for professional firms.
- Consult with clients on their branding and corporate image, as well as ensuring that we are in line with their specifications.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable with editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw or GIMP.
- Be familiar with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with HTML & CSS.
- Good time management and being able to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail with a great visual eye.
Beneficial Traits
- Experience working with professional clients such as law firms, accountants or financial services firms.
- Experience with WordPress or any other kind of web development.
- Experience in email marketing.
- Bilingual – English and Afrikaans.
- Be comfortable in a dynamic environment where we use a variety of platforms, including our custom-built mailing platform, Rocketseed, WordPress and other emerging technologies.

Web Developer
Duties
- Consulting with clients to get a good understanding of what they require.
- Designing web pages, ensuring good layout design and user-friendly experience.
- Providing basic SEO services.
- Maintaining websites and keeping them up-to-date.
- Managing the hosting of websites, domains and email accounts.
- Be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Be familiar with many digital marketing tools such as Google Adwords and Google Analytics.
Requirements
- Solid experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Must be comfortable with editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw or GIMP.
- Be familiar with WordPress.
- Good time management and being able to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills both within a team and when dealing with clients.
- A desire to learn.
- Be comfortable in a dynamic environment where we use a variety of emerging technologies.

- Any additional programming languages, especially PHP.

Marketing Consultant (Sales Position)
Duties
- Being comfortable with consulting to professional firms in the legal, accountancy and financial services industries to get a good understanding as to what they require.
- Understanding our full product offering and the benefits each service provides.
- Meeting with current and prospective clients, often going on sales trips around South Africa.
- Finding and approaching prospective clients.
- Managing client expectations of the service.
Requirements
- Proven track record in marketing/sales.
- Experience in dealing with and understanding the needs of attorneys / accountants / financial advisors.
- Must have their own transport with a valid driver’s licence.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Software (Word and Excel).
- Be able to remotely coordinate effectively with the DotNews team.
Beneficial Traits
- Experience in the legal, accountancy or financial services industries will be of huge advantage.
- Being Bilingual in English and Afrikaans would also be of major benefit.
- Strong self-motivation.
- Strong articulation skills when talking with clients and prospects.
- Optimism and a can-do attitude!
Position: Freelance / Part-time / Full-time – Compensation to be based on sales performance.
